Lug width alone does not tell you the right watch spring bar size. The bar must also fit the strap or bracelet and seat correctly in both lugs.

1. Check the tube as well as the length. The central body must fit the strap’s channel or bracelet end link. A thicker bar is not automatically an upgrade if it cannot fit the intended parts.
2. Match the tips. The narrow ends engage the holes in the lugs. Their diameter and projecting length matter too. Horotec’s spring-bar technical data lists length, body diameter and tip dimensions separately.
3. Confirm engagement. With the watch off your wrist, gently pull each fitted strap end to check retention. If either bar is not securely seated, stop and have the fit checked before wearing it. A snug-looking strap is not proof.
Watcher Insight: fitted bracelet ends add their own geometry. Use the compatibility checklist before treating two similar-looking parts as interchangeable.
